MALDA, Oct. 16: Banned Maoist literature, devices used for making grenades and chemicals were recovered from the house of a tribal family at Rangapukur village in Malda’s Bamongola police station area today.Suspected Maoist activists had kept the trunk consisting banned items at the house of one Mrs Talamoyee Marandi. When Marandi’s son, a migrant labourer, returned to his home today and saw the trunk, he immediately brought the matter to the notice of the police and later handed over the trunk to the police, the Malda SP, Mr DK Mondal, said. n SNS
