WBCS body complains against Malda Sabhadhipati

MALDA, Nov. 23: The WBCS (Executive) Association, Malda branch, has lodged a complaint with the district magistrate yesterday against the Sabhadhipati of Malda zilla parishad Mr Goutam Chakraborty for his allegedly misbehaviour with a deputy magistrate. The district secretary, Mr Angshuman Adhikary said they urged the district magistrate Mr CR Das to ensure proper working environment in the Malda zilla parishad office so that the WBCS officers can do their job impartially. “The Sabhadhipati not only misbehaved with our colleague Mr S Mukherjee but he said something rude in the presence of other people. This is undesirable,” Mr Adhikary said. The district magistrate said he would look into the matter, he added. The Malda WBCS Association has informed the matter to its state committee to look into the matter. When contacted, the Sabhadhipati Malda zilla parishad, Mr Goutam Chakraborty, denied the charges and said: “I don't have information that WBCS Association lodged a complaint against me.” n SNS
