Minister falls sick

MALDA, Feb 14:- The state environment minister Mr Sailen Sarkar fell ill seriously and was admitted to a nursing home in Malda yesterday evening. A team of local doctors examined him and advised to take rest. He is suffering from multiple infections including a prostate gland problem. Yesterday, he fell unconscious at Kaliachak during a resource mobilisation programme for the proposed Gaur Bango University. He was then suffering from fever and breathing problem. Mr Sarkar would be shifted to Kolkata for better treatment and eye operation shortly. At present he is in rest in a nursing home and has been advised not to talk.
