‘Cong has been unmasked after the polls’

MALDA, 4 OCT.: The Congress has been unmasked after mayoral election in Siliguri Municipal Corporation, said Mr Sanjit Biswas, a state committee leader of the SUCI.
Addressing a two-days district conference that began here since Saturday, the SUCI leader Mr Biswas said: “Before the Parliamentary election the Congress alleged that SUCI was trying to create problem to make an alliance with the Trinamul Congress. The Congress leaders claimed that they were only anti-Left here. But the mayoral election in Siliguri has unmasked them seeking support from the CPI-M”.
Citing some example from Singur and Nandigram, Mr Biswas also pointed out that the CPI-M was the “custodian of capitalism” and were acting as “social democrats” and “fascists” in the state.
“We had struggled a lot in the interest of the farmers in Singur but still we failed to return them their acquired land”, he added.
On the issue of Lalgarh, the SUCI state committee leader said: “The CPI-M originated from the CPI and from the CPI-M, Naxalites, CPI-ML and Maoists have come up and they are now “killing each other”.
Another state committee member of the SUCI, Mr Dipankar Roy delivered his speech at the conference and explained how capitalism has grabbed the entire world. But he also mentioned that it is now almost coming to an end.
He also pointed out the problem to establish socialism and its revolution at the present set up made by the capitalism.
The SUCI state committee has nominated Mr Gopal Nandi, as the secretary of the Malda district’s organisational committee yesterday. ;SNS
