MALDA, July 21: Bihar police have requested their English Bazaar counterpart to execute the “proclamation attachment” against two Malda leaders — the English Bazaar MLA, Mr KN Choudhury and the Malda district Trinamul Congress chief, Mr Dulal Sarkar — following a court order, the Malda SP, Mr DK Mondal, said. The duo were allegedly involved in the twin murder case in Katihar, Bihar, that took place some years ago. “After receiving a green signal from the court regarding attachment of properties of the two political leaders, the Bihar police submitted all papers to us yesterday. We will execute the property attachment formally keeping close observation on the two political leaders, including Mr KN Choudhury, the Congress MLA of English Bazaar”, Mr Mondal said. n SNS
