Answer scripts recovered


MALDA, March 14: Malda police recovered the lost answer scripts of Bengal second paper of Madhyamik 2008 from a rickshaw puller late last night in Mohonpur village, 15 km from English Bazaar town. An examiner, Ashok Barui, assistant teacher of Malda town school, had lost 71 answer scripts on way in English Bazaar town on 11 March afternoon. A rickshaw puller, Altaf Sheikh found the packet and took it to his home. n sns

MALDA, March 14: Malda Buddhijibi Shilpi o Sanskritik Kormi Mancha took out a rally in English Bazaar town today to protest against the police firing in Nandigram on this day last year. They staged a street drama to mark the incident as Martyrs’ Day. n sns
