Statesman News ServiceMALDA, 11 SEPT: Protesting against capitalist exploitation, members of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) today said they will continue to support the Trinamul Congress. The decision, said Mr Sanjit Biswas, a state committee leader of Suci, was taken to protect the interest of the proletariat in West Bengal. At a meeting held to discuss the agenda of the second party Congress, Mr Biswas said at the national level, the Congress was fast becoming a party of the capitalists but in the state it is the ‘CPI-M led Left social democratic forces' that is creating trouble.“We must extend our support to the Trinamul Congress as it fighting the CPI-M led Left front here, but we also have to ‘control’ the Trinamul Congress so that it cannot support the Congress at the national level”, Mr Biswas said.He was also firm in saying that if in future, the Trinamul members extend support to aid capitalist forces, the body will snap all its ties with the party.After 1988, the Suci is holding its second party Congress in November. Communists’ leaders from 15 countries ~ Germany, France, Iran, Russia, Nepal, Bangladesh, have been invited to attend the meet to be held at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi from 11 to 17 November.

As the over three decade rulers of WB are becoming more and more despotic the decision of the SUCI to join with TMC to fight the out and out anti people, undemocratic Nazist governance of the WB left front rulers is not only right but a historic one. The CPI-M led left front rulers should be defeated not only electorally. Their organisation itself should be withered out. Their rule in WB is a glaring example of what a misrule is provided by this parties and not only the Bengalis but also the people of the whole nation have lessons to learn from the social and political events of WB.
