MALDA, Oct 10: The Malda district Congress president Mr AH Khan Choudhury has discovered that difference of opinion among the local Congress leaders including MLAs has created factional feuds and if it continues the organisation will be affected.
In order to resolve the crisis Mr AH Khan Choudhury held a meeting at its district party office yesterday with some Congress leaders and finally appealed to all leaders including the MLAs of this district to attend the meeting at party office regularly.
The decision was adopted when he found that many leaders including MLAs were not present despite information about the meeting. Mr Khan Choudhury, also the Malda MP, said: “If all leaders including MLAs come to party office and interact with us then there will be no misunderstandings”. n SNS
